HOTwood/Thermo Ash Timber cladding

Thermowood or thermo ash (HOTwood) is the best alternative to valuable tropical wood types.

Advantages of timber cladding in thermo ash

During a heat treatment, the ash is heated up to at least 215 °C. This is done by means of steam, in order to prevent cracks and splits in the wood. After the treatment the thermo ash is comparable to tropical hardwood of class I. The certificate is available on request.

Our wood cladding is available in various ready-made profiles. We deliver standard profiles but we can also plane them according to the customer’s wishes. The substructure of the timber cladding is produced from thermo pine.

Thermo ash retains its form, is stable and does not contain any splits, worms or knots. It is, in short, the best alternative to exotic hardwood and can also be delivered with a PEFC certificate.
